The summer of 1988 I decided to put in place an asphalt paved walkway at the fair grounds. This was mainly for the benefit of anything with wheels like strollers and wheel chairs that had to contend with the loose sand. I also made an asphalt ramp joining the handicap ramp on the south end of the grandstand.

Now 28 years later you County Fair Board members can't even come up with a permanent reserved seating section for the Handicapped at the grandstand; you have Handicap parking and now in 2017 new Handicap restrooms which I thank you……..In 2018 have a Handicap seating...
