I visited Roseau last week for the first time in over 30 years. Unfortunately, it was not for a vacation. I came to attend the funeral service of my brother Jerry. (I knew him as Benj…short for Benjamin, his middle name).

I knew several things about my brother. I knew that he would do anything for me if I asked, I knew that he had no problem telling me what to do and most of all, I knew that he loved me. Those were the last words we spoke to each other.
