Thief River Falls - Yvonne passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul at the age of 78.

Yvonne LaMae Oslund Ode was born May 24, 1939 in Wannaska, to Jens and Nannie (Erickson) Oslund.  She was baptized and confirmed at Riverside Lutheran Church in Wannaska. Yvonne was raised on the family farm, attended grade school in Wannaska and graduated from Roseau High School in 1957. She received her teaching certificate and taught at Haug Leo rural school.
