To Whom It May Concern,

Many settlers in Roseau County lived and raised families in the Roseau Lake bottom. The Gunda Erickson Family, Mike Nordgarded and Kenneth Stoe farmed there. The Mickelson Family spent their lives on the Island. Their children; Elmer, Carl, Fred and Aton were all raised there and Carl spent his whole life on the Island.
