Roseau - Gary LeRoy Dahlgren passed away surrounded by family on December 14 after a seven-month battle with cancer.

Gary was born on February 12, 1942, in Roseau, to Oliver and Ruby (Norquist) Dahlgren. He grew up in the Falun township, where he was the second of eight children.

After high school, he served 2 years in the Army and 6 years in the Reserves. He was discharged from the Army in January 1963. On May 30, 1963, he married Gloria (Wolff). They lived in LaCrescent, and had 5 children: Leonard, Lyle, Larry, Louise, and Leslie.
