At the end of the two-day, 40-team Big Bear Wrestling Tournament in Cass Lake last weekend, Chandler Mooney found little to smile about after losing his first match of the season.

After winning three straight on Friday while pinning DGF's Daniel Wilson (3:12) and Aitkin's Tyler Spolarich (1:02) and then grinding out a 13-1 major decision over Detroit Lakes' Fabyon Greer, he advanced to Saturday's 145-pound semifinals where he was matched against Hibbing's AJ Bertha. Had Chandler won that match, he was in the championship finals.
