To the Editor,

I was just thinking of this past season of girl’s hockey and girl’s basketball in Roseau and how incredible it was and has been for years. I would hate to see Roseau take the great playoff showings and state tournament appearances for granted. I grew up in Crookston, and while I was there we won the state football tournament in 1980 and then 8 years later we sent our boys basketball team to state. It wasn’t for lack of effort that we didn’t go more.
