Let's cut to the chase.
Ryan "Pete" Petersburg once could leap in the air, kick up his heels, throw on his hunting clothes, and head out to the woods.
He knew no boundaries and, basically, the sky was the limit - climbing trees, wading through swamps, throwing caution to the wind, gutting out a deer, dragging it to the road, riding his Polaris four-wheeler, and laughing at life.
He's still smiling, but he hasn't kicked up his heels since that night in July 2012 when, as a passenger, he was severely injured in a motor vehicle accident.
Now a quadriplegic, he is unable to do almost everything...
