Roy Douglas Olson was born on December 1, 1934 to Otto and Katherine (Kay) (Anderson) Olson at the home of his grandmother Alma Anderson Lind in Stokes Township. This is now the home of Carol and Mitchell Rhen. He was Alma’s first grandchild. He was Baptized Jan 1, 1935 and Confirmed May 22, 1949 at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, Badger.
