by Britt Dahl, Director/Curator The Roseau County Historical Society & Museum is busy preparing for the 2023 Indoor Tree Walk, opening on the evening of November 28. The event has been rebranded this year and will now be referred to as Light Up The Museum, a tree decorating contest and tour. The contest is for anyone and everyone to bring their creative styles and decorate a tree at the museum. Submitted by Britt Dahl The NW Minnesota Sixth Grade History Contest was held on May 5th. Seven area schools participated by taking a Minnesota history test at the Roseau City Center. The contest has taken place for 40 years and is compiled by the Roseau County Historical Society. Trophies and cash awards were presented to the top six students. The cash awards are sponsored by Border Bank – Roseau County area, Citizens State Bank – Roseau, and Security State Bank of Warroad. Students from Bad...
