    Mr. Common Sense threw out a verse from Proverbs 2 last month in one of his articles: “God grants a treasure of common sense to the honest.” I’ve made my opinion known that Ryan Honl doesn’t seem to grasp the concept of common sense, but now I’ve come to the realization that he doesn’t understand the meaning of honest.     The columnist who writes “Common Sense” for this paper wrote these words a few weeks back: “You may hate Trump, but he started no wars. Not a single one in his four years. Literally you can count on one hand the number of other presidents who’ve accomplished that and none of them are alive anymore.” Hopefully, this columnist has at least 20 fingers on one hand so that what he wrote can be true for him.     If the January 15th editorial from Wendy Butler was an example of showing “the world a little more Jesus”, I’m going to say that Jesus needs a better public relations firm. From what I remember, Jesus was about easing people’s suffering, not adding to it. I doubt that Jesus would chastise grieving family members whose only mission was to plead with community members to get a Covid vaccine in order to prevent another family from going through an unnecessary loss like the one they had suffered.
