Mr. Common Sense threw out a verse from Proverbs 2 last month in one of his articles: “God grants a treasure of common sense to the honest.” I’ve made my opinion known that Ryan Honl doesn’t seem to grasp the concept of common sense, but now I’ve come to the realization that he doesn’t understand the meaning of honest. The columnist who writes “Common Sense” for this paper wrote these words a few weeks back: “You may hate Trump, but he started no wars. Not a single one in his four years. If the January 15th editorial from Wendy Butler was an example of showing “the world a little more Jesus”, I’m going to say that Jesus needs a better public relations firm. From what I remember, Jesus was about easing people’s suffering, not adding to it.
