The first opponent for the Rams was the TRF Prowlers. The Rams had previously beaten the TRF Prowlers twice already this year, but anything can happen in the playoffs. It is always tough to play in the swamp, so the Rams need to be ready to play right away at tip off.     The Rams defeated Crookston in the Section 8AA final to earn their 5th straight State tournament bid. The Rams earned the #1 ranking in Class 2AA to start the State tournament as the Rams took on the unranked Redwood Valley Cardinals as their first opponent on March 13 at 6 p.m. The Rams and Cardinals were tied early on at 8-8, but then the Cardinals were able to hit a few outside shots and they got easy inside shots as well.     On February 28, the Lady Rams played their last home game in front of an amazing crowd. The first playoff game was against the Bagley Flyers. The Rams were dominant from the very beginning and were able to use their speed and athletic ability to take a 62-8 halftime lead.     The Roseau Rams girls basketball team notched 4 more wins against—Ada, Barnesville, Crookston and Park Rapids. On Feb. 1 the Rams traveled to Ada, to take on the #5 ranked team in Class A.     On Jan. 11 the Rams took to the road and traveled to Pequot Lakes to take on the Patriots. We knew the match would be intense as the Patriots’ Olivia Lane and Rams’ Kacie Borowicz will both be teammates next year at UND.
