  • Relay for Life Still Touches Many Hearts

    Jeff Olsen|Aug 21, 2021

by Jeff Olsen Once, the annual Relay for Life drew in the entire county. Now, three decades after it kicked off in the previous century at the Roseau City Park with teams from every city and community, it was a much smaller affair at Riverview Park in Roseau on Thursday, August 12. While the Roseau Relay for Life organizers are smaller in numbers, they pack a big punch in the fight against cancer with their fundraising. It was hard to miss Pam Shaw, the official camera person for this year's...

  • Summer was full of sunshine and helpfulness

    Julie Elick|Aug 21, 2021

Remembering the Roseau Flood of 2002. What a mess. It happened so fast. It wasn't like we hadn't filled sandbags before, we did that. Many times, we did everything we could do, or tried. But then it happened. Joe ran from the neighbors house yelling their sewer just blew!! Brian and Dorris Noreen (dear friends) had come about 10 minutes before and asked me if there was anything in our basement that needed to be saved. "Yes" I said, "we have a new washer and dryer." In the next few minutes he...

    Pastor Joe Elick|Aug 21, 2021

Have you ever asked this question: "Where are you God"? Life is going along well and then all of a sudden, SLAM, life takes a difficult turn. That's how it's been with my latest and most difficult (by far) cancer experience. I know my wife keeps you up to date on this. When I found out that the cancer within me was going to need to be addressed with chemotherapy my heart sank. (I know what chemo can do to the body on a regular basis and I was and still am scheduled for a total of 12...

  • A little history and then the good life

    Jeff Olsen|Aug 21, 2021

"The buck stops here." That was President Harry Truman's motto. You make the decisions and you take the heat - or the praise. With the fall of Afghanistan, President Joe Biden is taking the heat. So has former President Donald Trump, who set in motion the departure of American troops by the end of August. The Taliban just speeded it up by a couple of weeks. It was back in the early 1970s when the Kunz brothers, Dave and John from Caledonia, were hiking around the world for UNICEF. Dave was shot...

  • Bad Medicine Resort

    Jodi Wojciechowski|Aug 21, 2021

We started off our trip with missing the turn to our resort...right Brian!? Our leader had us turn into a little historical marker site to get turned around. It may have been a potty stop area for a few of us and I had to check out the roses! They were beautiful and so I decided to pick a few for our centerpiece. Umm...the stem is real and there are thorns but the flower looks fake. They are fake, what the heck! Upon further investigation someone had cut off the top of a real rose stem and... Full story

  • Ready for Global Technocrats?

    Sheldon Larson|Aug 21, 2021

This old wordsmith has been trying to put into words what Lev Hohmann was able to do. It is more than worth repeating. Luciferian elites will continue to steal elections and terrorize humanity until they meet overwhelming resistance. The objective is to turn us against each other and provoke a civil war. We must resist their provocations. The globalists with no love of any country and a hatred for God, are the enemy. Resist them. Digital health experts are no longer the stuff of conspiracy theories, they are here, with New York City, Los...
