Bankruptcy

As reported on the various news broadcast... Puerto Rico is in deep debt and is on the verge of bankruptcy.

Hence... to get out from under Puerto Rico MAY seek a bailout from the federal government.

I am placing an emphasis on the word MAY because as far as I have heard the possibility of bankruptcy is merely a thought under consideration by the central government at this time.

Whether it gets the support and approval by both Houses of Congress remains up in the air.

On the other hand... it is generally accepted Puerto Rico has been in financial disarray for quite a long time.
