Golfing Lads are 3rd in 19 team tourney

It was a perfect day to be flying a kite on Tuesday in Fosston and Bagley where the Rams battled the wind at two golf courses.

But there were no complaints from coach Mike Lundbohm, whose players keep improving.

"We were pretty happy with the results," he said, noting that only Crookston and Mahnomen placed ahead of his Rams.

"We played 9 holes in Fosston and then we drove over to Bagley and played 9 holes at the Twin Pines course," he said, momentarily at a loss for the name of the Fosston course.

It didn't matter.

The Rams had their best performance of the season as their top 4 golfers shot...
