To the Editor,

When visiting with acquaintances that just happen to be liberal democrats, it has become clear there is a deeper riftbetween democrats and republicans than probably any other segments of our society. I am a definite conservative, but don’t think of myself as a republican and have voted for very few democrats in the forty plus years I have voted. I vote for the candidate that is most likey to help the country and not their party.
