Greater Protection Now Available through FSA's Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program

The Roseau County FSA Office wants to inform area producers that greater protection is now available through FSA’s Non-Insured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP) for crops for which Federal crop insurance is not available. The new options, created by the 2014 Farm Bill, provide greater coverage for losses when natural disasters affect eligible crops.

2017 NAP application coverage closing dates: September 30, 2016 – Perennial Forage Crops, and Wild Rice; November 20, 2016 – Perennial Fruits & Vegetables; December 1, 2016 – Honey; March 15, 2017 – Spring-seeded crops & Pasture....
