East Grand Forks - Lawrence “Buzz” Tom Barrett, died peacefully in his sleep on October 2, 2016.

Buzz, the youngest child of Fred M. and Sadie (Austin) Barrett, was born on September 4, 1929, in East Grand Forks. He married Blanche (Stallmo) on January 10, 1948. He drove truck before moving with his family to Warroad in 1962 to farm. Buzz loved to hunt and fish, including taking many trips to Montana and Canada. Buzz and Blanche enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends. They moved to Fisher in 1999. In addition to hunting and fishing, Buzz enjoyed trapping, gardening and bird watching.
