Veterans Day 2016 at Roseau High School began at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, as the veterans marched into the gymnasium heralded by a steady drum roll with everyone standing at attention.
Shortly, the five-member Color Guard marched into sight to the front of the stage as the curtain opened.
Next, ninth grader Gabrielle Johnson sang the Star Spangled Banner a cappella, and then seniors John Tangen and Will Woolever led the audience in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
John Tangen next gave the invocation and was followed by seniors Ivy Braaten and Sarah Noethe.
