Vandla Tangen, 93

Roseau - Vandla Mary Tangen passed away on November 7, 2016 at LifeCare Manor in Roseau.

Vandla Bergstrom was born in Wannaska on January 16, 1923 to Ida (Carlson) and John Bergstrom. As a child, Vandla and her siblings Vivian and Charles spent the week days with their mother in Reine Township, where Ida taught school. When Ida passed away in 1934, Hannah and Elmer Monsrud assisted John with the care of the children, so the family could remain on the farm.
