It was the Section 8AA Girls hockey championship and there was a remarkable excitement in the air when the first puck was dropped at 7 pm at the BCA arena in Bemidji on Friday, February 17th. It was the 2nd seeded Roseau Rams challenging the 1st seeded Brainerd Warriors for the right to play in the state tournament at the XCEL Energy Center in St. Paul.
