Golfing Lads are making strides

 


Tee time was at 9 on Monday morning at Bemidji Town and Country Club, and it turned out to be a perfect day for sailing on Lake Bemidji.

"It was a tough, windy day, and we ended up 4th out of 15 teams, and we shot 335," said coach Mike Lundbohm, adding that Detroit Lakes shot 324 to win it and were followed by Crookston (327) and Fergus Falls (333).

There were 25 to 30 mile per hour winds, but Lundbohm wasn't disappointed with the overall play at the Bemidji Invitational.

"Sophomore Josh Olson was low for us with 81, and he ended up on the all-tournament team tied for sixth," he said.
