Baseball Rams win playoff opener, 5-4

 


It was getting down to the nitty-gritty for the Roseau Rams on Tuesday afternoon at Gilbertson Field as they trailed, 4-3, late in the game.

The 4th seeded Rams were hosting the 5th seeded Crookston Pirates, and it didn't look very promising as Chris Wavra wasn't giving the Rams much to hit.

The Rams had tied it at 1-1 in the bottom of the 1st inning when Brennan Bordun scored on an error.

The Rams grabbed the lead in the bottom of the 3rd when Adam Hedlund scored on Brennan Bordun's sacrifice fly, and the Rams scored their 2nd run of the inning when Paxton Pierce doubled in John Tangen to...
