State Auditor Rebecca Otto is playing politics at the expense of Northwest Minnesota taxpayers.

After the Legislature passed a law signed by Governor Dayton in 2015 expanding the opportunity for all counties to choose between the state auditor and private, certified CPA firms for audits, many Greater Minnesota counties saw an opportunity for significant cost savings for their annual financial review.
