The Ada Athletics bunched their hits at just the right time in a senior amateur baseball game against the Roseau Royals in Ada on Sunday.

Going into the bottom of the 6th inning with the game tied at 2 apiece, the Athletics scored a solo run to take the lead, 3-2.

Then, in the bottom of the 7th, Ada scored another 2 runs to take a 5-2 lead.

In top of the 8th, the Royals rallied with 2 runs to cut the deficit to 5-4 but never got any closer as Ada scored a solo run in the bottom of the 8th to win 6-4.
