Thief River Falls - Duane Larson, of Thief River Falls, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Sanford Hospital in Thief River Falls.

Duane Walter Larson was born on June 5, 1927 in Thief River Falls, the son of Walter and Myrtle (Anderson) Larson. He was baptized and confirmed at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Holt. Duane attended Holt School and graduated from Newfolden High School in 1945.

On June 29, 1950, Duane was united in marriage to Joyce Yvonne Peterson at the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Holt. They made their home in Thief River Falls, and to this union four children were born,...
