Wrestlers crown one champ at Prowler Invite

At the US Army National Guard Prowler Invite in Thief River Falls last Saturday, the Rams placed 7th in a field of 17 teams and had one champion and five other place winners.

Junior Chandler Mooney, the top seed at 145, punched his ticket to the finals via two pins and a technical fall to meet Crookston's Lukas Meier, the second seed, in a championship match that didn't go the distance.

Mooney claimed the title on a second period pin (3:28) to notch his first Prowler Invite title.
