Have you ever lost a pet?

I read with increasing sadness in last week’s Roseau Times-Region (1/27/18) the article (courtesy of the Kenora Daily Minor News) about the killing of several dogs, family pets, belonging to “Northwest Angle 33 First Nation” residents. I feel for these families.

Some of you know that my wife and I are animal lovers. Currently we have 2 cats, Bailey and Bumpkin who get upset if I don’t serve them their “daily lunch” (a treat) by 11:30 each morning... A few minutes earlier if Bailey can pester me into it!

I cry every time we lose a pet. I think I cried the hardest over the loss of my beloved cat...
