Putting up with the cold for the love of the game

Jeff Schoonover, who hails from Seattle, Washington, where the mid-day temperatures are usually in the mid-40s in late January, decided to take a quick trip a couple of weeks ago.

So, where was he headed on Saturday, January 27, when Roseau County was experiencing an almost steady streak of 20 below zero lows?

He was flying into Grand Forks for the start of a hockey pilgrimage, which means that he's no rookie around sub-zero temperatures.
