Wrestlers Mooney and Eidsmoe advance to state

At the Section 8A Individual Qualifying Tournament in Crookston last Friday and Saturday with nine teams competing, the Rams had an individual champ and a runner-up.

At 145, Chandler Mooney, sporting a 39-2 record, advanced to the finals via a 14-3 major decision over Fosston-Bagley's Alex Wolfe in the Friday evening semis.

On Saturday afternoon, Mooney met Crookston's Lukas Meier for the fourth time this season.
