Golf can be a very humbling game

 


Last Friday afternoon at the two-day golf meet at the Bemidji Town and Country Club, the Rams led the four-team field after the first 18 holes.

Gus Vatnsdal, Josh Olson, and Tal Halliday shot 79’s while Marcus Nelson (84), Sam Grafstrom (89), and Nathan Adrian (90) rounded out the scoring for the Rams.

With a Low 4 score of 321, the Rams held a two-shot lead over the Crookston Pirates.

Unfortunately, there was another 18 holes of golf on Saturday for the team title.

"We lost by 27 strokes to Crookston on the second day," said coach Mike Lundbohm.
