On Tuesday and Wednesday during the Class AA State Golf Tournament at the Ridges at Sandhill Creek Golf Course in Jordan, Ms. Wensloff, who graduated this past May from Roseau High School, played her heart out, according to her coach, Don Johnson.

Following the first 18 holes, he knew she wasn't satisfied with her score.

"She shot an 89 for the day - 45 on the front nine and 44 on the back nine," he said. "Overall, she played pretty solid and had just two bad holes."
