On Friday, June 22, at the Minnesota State High School League sanctioned State Trap Tournament, the Roseau High School Clay Target Team of Tyler Dirks, Nolan Hanson, Jonathan Hosaluk, Ethan Johnson, and Owen Moser shot their way to 10th place in the 40-team event.
The lads shot two rounds of 25 in the first session and then another two rounds of 25 in the second session.
Last week, coach Troy Weiland remarked on the one-day event at the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake.
"We shot a better score this go-around than we did two years ago," he said, and then commented on the pressure.
