Newport News, Va. - Lance Alan Anderson, 53, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018.

Lance was born in Minneapolis, to Lois and Alden Anderson who preceded him in death. He grew up on the family farm in Badger. He relocated to Newport News, Va., in his early 20’s and was employed as a commercial fisherman. Lance was a jack of all trades and learned many of his skills on the farm. He always referred to himself as a simple farm boy who enjoyed country air.

He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to many races. He also was a true Vikings football fan. He never gave up on his team, proudly...
