Marie A. Comstock, 99

Roseau - Marie Nelson Comstock, age 99, died peacefully on July 7, 2018.

Marie was an intelligent, kind, and strong woman, who loved her family, neighbors, and community. She loved to dance, play cards, garden and travel. She taught in the country and Roseau schools and was a longtime member of several state and local community boards, organizations and clubs. Marie was proud of her heritage and was always happy for an opportunity to speak and translate Swedish.

She is preceded in death by husband Robert, parents Axel and Christine Nelson, and siblings Iver, Amy Maiola, Carol Hetteen, Gloria H...
