A Hole in One and Men's Golf Report

Oakcrest golf shop manager Shelly LaPlante announced a Canadian hole-in-one early on Wednesday afternoon at the Roseau course.

"Bill Faskerti from across the border had a hole-in-one on number 12 with a 5 wood," she texted, noting that Bob Zarn witnessed the accomplishment along with three little boys who ran across the 12th green to take a gander after it hopped into the hole.

On Wednesday evening, Mark Wilson reported the results from the Men's Golf League.

On the front nine, Kurt Weston was a triple winner as he shared low net honors with Gregg Iverson (33).
