Roseau Tennis Kicks Off the Varsity Season

The Rams Girls' Varsity Tennis team put themselves to the test in the first week of the season. Roseau began the season without defending Section 8A Singles Champion Jodi Ostroski, who is out with a back injury. In the opening weekend of matches, the girls needed to step up to a much higher level of competition than they saw last year.

At the North/South Challenge Quad in Park Rapids on Friday, August 17th, Roseau started against Class AA Mound-Westonka and Minnewaska, a team ranked in the top 10 in Class A in Minnesota. Despite a number of close sets and tiebreakers in the Mound-West...
