September 22 marks three years of sobriety for Holly, a former Roseau High School graduate who sought treatment for her addiction from First Step Recovery.

Holly, daughter of Steve and Connie Erickson of Roseau, graduated from RHS in 1999. She then moved to Moorhead, where she now lives with her husband Chris Heisen and son Paxton, who is 6.

Holly worked in a bar and drank and partied with her friends, which she felt was normal. It wasn't until her second DUI, which was right before her wedding, that she realized she may have a problem with alcohol.
