Rhinelander, Wis. - Albert passed away September 13 at Friendly Village Nursing Home.
He was born in Badger on May 17, 1926, to Knut and Carrie (Dole) Thompson.
He attended Badger school through eighth grade. He served in the Army in WWII and in the Navy in the Korean Conflict. He had many jobs in his lifetime, including working at a mink ranch and in maintenance for the Town of Newbold. Albert was a kind and gentle man who enjoyed cards, music, cutting wood, travel, and visiting. He was a member of Pine Grove Community Church.
