Sarah and I did the mother load of canning apples to get them finished up for this season.

We did another batch of apple butter, since the first batch was going fast. We now have 6 pints, 12 half pints and 12-4 ounce jars of apple butter, plus what we have left from the first batch. I think I have one pint left from the first batch.

We canned 2 quarts and 7 pints of applesauce, this time around.

We canned 13 quarts of apple slices. This was a first for the apple slices or I should say cubes. We want to be able to make apple crisp or pie this winter with fresh apples. So we gave it a try...
