Warroad - Julius "Joel" Dwight Powell, age 74, of Warroad, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2018, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks N.D.

Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday September 27, 2018, with a prayer service following at Helgeson Funeral Home in Warroad.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 28, 2018, at Zion Lutheran Church Warroad, with Pastor Mary Gilthvedt, officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are made by Helgeson Funeral Home.
