Fargo, N.D. - Thomas Whelan passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the age of 74.

Thomas James Whelan was born on July 13, 1944 in Chicago, Ill., to parents James Joseph and Florence (Jones).  He grew up on the north side of Chicago with his two younger brothers, Frank and Michael, until he enlisted in the U.S. Army from August 1965-67.  After being honorably discharged he went back to Chicago.
