RHS sophomores spend the day outdoors

It was a perfect day except for the weather a week ago Monday, October 8, at the Roseau School Forest north of Salol.

Sophomore science teacher Leif Eidsmoe, who coordinated the event with the Wannaska and Warroad Forestry Departments, couldn't quite give it a grade A day rating.

"It was cold, around 40 degrees, but it didn't rain until the last 15 minutes," he said, adding that the sophomores had a blast.

"They loved getting time to run around out there, especially in the cedar swamp," said Mr. Eidsmoe, commenting that the kids enjoyed the new administrators, Principal Ivan Hirst and Assis...
