Strathcona - Cindy Kay Beito, the daughter of the late Andrew and Edna (Abrahamson) Boroos, was born on July 17, 1961, at Roseau.

She attended school and grew to womanhood in the Badger community, graduating from Badger High School in 1979. She was united in marriage to Eugene Beito on July 11, 1998, at Strathcona and the couple have since made their home there. Cindy was employed at Polaris Industries in Roseau for 29 years until her health forced her retirement in January of 2009.
