If people can't have their dreams, this world would be a very dull place.

Years ago, long before the majority of Americans who are alive today were born, the Irish Sweepstakes in the 1950s were something to dream of winning and leaving the factory to live the good life with the fat cats in Miami and Vegas.

We hear it too often.

"You'll never win, sucker!"

Debbie Kujava 58, doesn't buy that script.

On Monday morning, she returned my call, and I had one question. Did she buy a lottery ticket this time?

"Yes, I did and I lost," she said about last Friday night's Mega Millions drawing.
