Singer Gabbie June Gets a Helping Hand

Meet Arlen Sandland, a 60-year-old pilot, who had an inspiration a decade ago and sat on it for most of that decade before penning Everybody Thinks They're Alright.

It is a catchy tune that he wrote for Gabbie June, and it wasn't a chance occurrence.

Gabbie, a Roseau High School junior, was a young girl when Arlen and Diane Sandland, old friends of her parents, Harvey and Monica Johnson, were based at the Roseau Municipal Airport before moving to Williston, North Dakota.

Gabbie June frequently sings the National Anthem at various athletic and patriotic events.
