Brainerd knocks off Lady Rams in Section 8AA Hockey

The last time these two rivals met on the ice was back in February when the Section 8AA championship trophy was at stake. Rams fans know that Brainerd would eventually win a heartbreaking three overtime game and advance to the state tournament while ending Roseau’s season just inches away from its goal of repeating as the Section 8AA champ. As the old saying goes, “turnabout is fair play” in that in the previous year it was the Rams that eliminated Brainerd in the section final in four overtimes. So there is some history here . . . .
