Rams win one of three at Menagha quad

On Friday evening at the wrestling quadrangular in Menagha, the Rams came within 40 seconds of dropping their first of three duals.

After Deer River stormed to a 24-0 lead, Race Knochenmus, at 138, pinned Brady Long at the 3:37 mark.

With the Rams forfeiting at 145 and trailing, 30 to 6, they came charging back on a forfeit victory for Chandler Mooney at 152.

Down 30-12, the Rams went on a winning streak with Brutus Grindahl winning on a pin (1:03) at 160, Ben Olson winning on a forfeit at 170, and Dale Grindahl winning on a pin (1:23) at 182 to tie the contest at 30-30.
