Roseau - Vivian Mary Ann Berger passed away on January 3, 2019 at the LifeCare Roseau Manor in Roseau at the age of 97.

Vivian Bergstrom was born on October 5, 1921 to Ida (Carlson) and John Bergstrom. Ida passed away in 1934 leaving her two siblings without a mother. Vivian married Russell Berger on September 20, 1942 in Mankato, MN. Russell served in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Normandy, France shortly after. They lived in Salem, Ore. and Grand Rapids for a short time before settling in Roseau. Vivian worked as a waitress for a time, then staying at home to raise her children.
