My good friend Robert Honstrom, who does very nice things at LifeCare Roseau Manor informed me last week that the biggest draw among the elderly residents is the Court Report in the Roseau Times-Region.

"They read it first," he said.

Or, he reads it to them.

Apparently, Badge #108, aka State Trooper Sylvia Maurstad, is followed devotedly by these old duffers.

Of course, if I were an old codger in the nursing home, I'd skip the obits and see who's been ticketed for speeding, blew too high on a breathalyzer test, or who was nabbed for exposing himself in subzero temperatures.
